To encrypt all the communication to the proxy server, you can setup the PI-Server to use your certificate and key.
Configure the PI-Server with TLS
Enable TLS in the configuration
You will find a line in the piplanning.cfg named use_tls. Set this value to yes.
Set path to your key and certificate in the configuration
In In piplanning.cfg you will find find:
- ssl_cert
- Should contain the path to your certificate file matching your hostname set
The line
- in the variable hostname of piplanning.cfg
- ssl_cert_key
- Should match the path to your tls-key
- for the certificate
